My name is 2 Laurio. In case you were wondering: Yes! 2 is my real name, not a nickname.

I am an early career theatre technician with experience in all aspects of theatre. I have mainly focused on sound engineering and sound design. 

 

Right after graduating high school I decided to attend PCPA’s 2 year technical conservatory where I'm trained as a general technician with a focus in sound and electrics. I graduated from conservatory in May, 2019.

After finishing my technical certification with PCPA, I moved back to my hometown where I am currently employed as a Theatre Technician of the City of Torrance. As a crew member I work in the James R. Armstrong, Torino Plaza, and George Nakano Theaters. Here I have worked as a house manager, lightboard operator, and stage manager.

Since Covid-19 I have been tried to keep myself busy by teaching myself how to edit in Pro Tools.

 

Outside of theatre I also work part time at my local comic book store. I like to learn guitar, play video games and hang out with my pugs: Rocko & Queenie.
